This year's design was once again a collaboration between Mike Wood and David Aiken. Mike sent Dave a collection of cards that he felt had a more modern look than some of the designs in recent years. Dave noticed that all of the cards that Mike sent used a photo backdrop around whatever framing was used, took that design cue and ran with it.
